The Iris data set contains 3 classes of 50 instances each, where each class refers to a type of iris plant: Setosa, Versicolor and Virginica.

The most straightforward questions you could ask:

Is there a difference in average sepal length among the three classes? (Anova)
Is there a difference in average sepal width among the three classes? (Anova)
Is there a difference in average petal length among the three classes? (Anova)
Is there a difference in average petal width among the three classes? (Anova)

You could also choose two of the three classess and compare their average sepal length or sepal width or average petal length or petal width (t tests)

Or you could also compare the homogeneity of variances for two of the tree classess for any of the four variables.

These are just some examples of things you could do that are typically covered in a Statistics course.
