Long time behavior of solutions of an autonomous differential equation 

Please see the attached file for a phase plane of this differential equation, which shows how the $y$ changes on different intervals on $\mathbb{R}$. We see that if at the initial time $y(2015)= \alpha>1$ or $y(2015)= \alpha<-2$, then the solution will approach to $+\infty$ and $-\infty$, respectively, as $t\rightarrow \infty$. 

Hence $\lim_{t\rightarrow \infty}y(t)$ is finite if and only if $ -2 \leq \alpha \leq 1$. So the coorrect answer is (b).
