Get area of rotated polygon knowing all coordinates and angle.
Is there a way to get the real surface area of a polygon by knowing the projected x and y values, as well as the angle of rotation relative to the horizontal.
Please see my diagram below.
The red points are the position on the (X,Y).
I have the angle as well, so now I need the actual surface area.
Any assistance will be appreciated!
